We're looking for an experienced Exercise Rider to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be confident riding Thoroughbreds in training and committed to the daily conditioning and development of our racehorses.
Responsibilities
- Gallop and exercise horses according to the trainer's instructions
- Warm up and cool down horses before and after training
- Monitor horses for changes in soundness or behavior
- Communicate with the trainer regarding each horse's performance
- Assist with tacking up and untacking
- Help maintain a safe and organized barn area
