EquiAssist LLC
Cookie Policy
Effective Date: June 18, 2026 · Operator: EquiAssist LLC, an Alabama limited liability company
This Cookie Policy explains how EquiAssist LLC, an Alabama limited liability company (“EquiAssist,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on the EquiAssist website (the “Service”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to improve them, and to provide reporting information. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels, and tags. We refer to all of these as “cookies.”
Cookies We Use
The table below describes the categories of cookies used on the Service and the providers that set them. Specific cookies within each category may change as we develop the Service.
| Category | Provider / Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | EquiAssist; Stripe | Keep you signed in, maintain your session, process payments securely, and prevent fraud. These cannot be switched off in our systems. |
| Analytics / performance | Google Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the Service, such as which listings are viewed, so we can improve it. |
| Advertising / targeting | Google Ads; Meta (Facebook) Pixel; LinkedIn | Deliver and measure advertising, including retargeting visitors on other platforms. |
Third Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services to us, including Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta, and LinkedIn for analytics and advertising, and Stripe for payment processing. We do not control these third parties’ use of cookies, which is governed by their own policies.
Your Consent and Choices
Where required by law, we obtain consent before setting non essential cookies, and, where we provide a cookie preferences tool, you can manage non essential cookies there. You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can usually set your browser to refuse some or all cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the Service to stop working.
You can opt out of certain analytics and advertising cookies through the providers’ own tools, including Google Ads Settings, the Meta ad preferences, and LinkedIn’s advertising controls.
Opt Out Preference Signals and Do Not Track
Where required by law, we honor recognized opt out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as described in our Privacy Policy. Because there is no common industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, we do not currently respond to them.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the Effective Date.
