This Disclaimer applies to your use of the EquiAssist website and services (the “Service”), operated by EquiAssist LLC, an Alabama limited liability company (“EquiAssist,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It supplements, and is incorporated into, our Terms of Use.

EquiAssist Is a Venue Only

EquiAssist is an online platform that lets equine industry Employers post job listings and lets Job Seekers search and apply. We are not an employer, employment agency, staffing firm, recruiter, or party to any employment or contractor relationship. We do not participate in, supervise, or control the hiring process, the terms of any arrangement, or any work performed. Any relationship formed through the Service is solely between the Employer and the Job Seeker.

No Verification or Endorsement

We do not screen, verify, endorse, or guarantee:

• the identity, legitimacy, or character of any Employer or Job Seeker;
• the accuracy, completeness, legality, or safety of any listing or application;
• any license, certification, qualification, experience, insurance, or background claimed by any user; or
• that any listing represents a genuine, currently available opportunity.

The presence of a listing or user on the Service is not an endorsement or recommendation by EquiAssist. You are solely responsible for, and bear all risks of, any user, listing, opportunity, communication, or transaction. Use independent judgment and ordinary caution, particularly before sharing sensitive personal or financial information, sending money, traveling, or beginning work.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not guarantee that any Job Seeker will receive a response, interview, offer, placement, or particular wage, or that any Employer will receive qualified applicants or any applicants. We do not guarantee any earnings, hiring result, or business outcome.

Equine and Workplace Safety

Work in the equine industry carries inherent and significant physical risks, including the inherent risks of equine activities, among them the unpredictable nature of horses and their propensity to act in ways that may result in injury, harm, or death. EquiAssist does not inspect, certify, or supervise any farm, barn, stable, horse, equipment, workplace, or working condition, and assumes no responsibility for safety, equine handling, training, supervision, insurance, or legal compliance. Employers and Job Seekers are solely responsible for their own safety and for compliance with all applicable occupational safety, equine activity, insurance, and employment laws, including the Alabama equine activity liability statute where it applies.

Content on the Service is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, tax, employment, veterinary, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you find here.

As Is; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EquiAssist is not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from your use of the Service, your dealings with other users, or any opportunity, work, or equine activity connected to the Service. These limitations are described more fully in our Terms of Use.
