We're looking for an experienced Horse Transportation Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting horses to horse shows, veterinary appointments, breeding facilities, and other destinations throughout the year.
The ideal candidate has experience hauling horses, maintains a strong safety record, and is comfortable operating a commercial truck and trailer.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport horses to and from horse shows, veterinary appointments, and other destinations
- Load and unload horses safely
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep trucks and trailers clean and properly maintained
- Maintain DOT logs and required transportation records
- Ensure horses are checked regularly during transport
- Assist with loading equipment and supplies for travel
- Help with horse show setup and other barn duties when needed
