We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Barn Manager to oversee the daily operations of our equine facility. This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring the health and well-being of our horses while maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional barn environment.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent horsemanship, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining the highest standards of horse care.
Responsibilities- Oversee all daily barn operations and horse care
- Manage feeding schedules, turnout, and stall maintenance
- Supervise and coordinate barn staff and grooms
- Monitor horse health and promptly communicate concerns to veterinarians and management
- Coordinate appointments with veterinarians, farriers, chiropractors, and other equine professionals
- Maintain accurate health and treatment records
- Ensure barns, arenas, paddocks, and equipment remain clean and well maintained
- Monitor feed, hay, bedding, and supply inventory
- Assist with training schedules and horse preparation as needed
- Maintain a safe working environment for horses, employees, and clients
- Support horse shows and travel when required
